At Brightmove, we provide a safe, nurturing and supportive home for children and young people aged 7–17, where they can feel valued, listened to and understood. Our home provides a calm, nurturing environment where each child can feel safe, settled and valued.
Individualised Care
Every child is unique, and our care reflects this. We use trauma-informed practice and an understanding of attachment to recognise how a child’s experiences, including separation, loss and disrupted relationships, may affect their emotions, behaviour and ability to trust. Care is planned around each child’s individual needs, strengths, wishes and goals, with consistent relationships and nurturing support helping them feel safe, understood and able to make progress.
Care Guided by the 9 Quality Standards
Our care is guided by the nine Quality Standards set out in the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. We focus on each child’s individual progress, safety, wellbeing, relationships, education and achievements, creating positive experiences that help children develop confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging.
